Norbert Kiss and José Eduardo Rodrigues Honoured at FIA Awards

Champions and legends from the world of motorsport were celebrated in spectacular style at the FIA Awards, with the traditional post-season gala taking place for the first time ever on the African continent, in Kigali, Rwanda.

Reigning Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Champion, Norbert Kiss, took to the stage at the annual Prize Giving Ceremony on Friday to collect his trophy after securing his sixth European Truck Racing title this year.\

Speaking about his achievement, Kiss said: "Winning the title for the fourth time in a row and the sixth overall makes me really proud! The Prize Giving Ceremony is a fantastic event, and I’m honoured to be here with all the other champions, especially the world champions, who we wouldn’t normally get to meet.”

José Eduardo Rodrigues was also recognised, receiving trophies for winning both the Chrome Drivers' Championship and the European Young Drivers’ Championship for the second year in a row.

Kiss and Rodrigues joined the likes of Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, and many other champions to celebrate their success.
