Don’t count on home Goodyear FIA ETRC win, says Czech hero Lacko

Adam Lacko is playing down his chances of winning at home in the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship this weekend.

Czech hero Lacko, ETRC champion in 2017, is making his second start of the season at Autodrom Most having returned to action at the Nürburgring last month following a lengthy break from the all-action series.

The Buggyra Racing driver said: “First place would be great, but after three years it won't be easy at all. If I could get on the podium at least once, I would be satisfied.

“Hopefully, we've improved a bit since the Nürburgring, and I'll manage to get a podium to make myself and the home fans happy. There's always a completely different atmosphere in Most. When you arrive at the first chicane and feel the support of the fans, you try to perform to the best of your ability.”
