André “gave it his all” to bank Goodyear FIA ETRC points at Jarama

Jonathan André completed his 2026 Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship campaign by scoring points in all four races at Circuito de Madrid Jarama – RACE.

However, his finish in the final race of the 39th Grand Prix de España FIA Europeo de Camiones weekend was down to the Frenchman’s determination in the face of adversity as a communication from his team, Lion Truck Racing, explained.

“After a great qualification that allowed him to reach the Q2, Jonathan finished 13th in the first race of Sunday,” the communication read. “During the second lap, a crack in the first tour came to complicate the race, but our driver gave it his all to reach the finish line and conclude the European season.”

Driving a TotalEnergies-backed MAN, André finished fifth among the Chrome category contenders in Race 1, Race 2 and Race 3 in Spain but slipped to eighth in Race 4 due to his issue.

He completed the season eighth in the Goodyear FIA ETRC Chrome standings on 100 points.
