Rodrigues aims to build on strong Zolder form in Goodyear FIA ETRC

José Eduardo Rodrigues starts round five of the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship at Circuit Zolder this week aiming to build on a strong showing at the Belgian venue 12 months ago.

The third-generation racer from Portugal finished second twice at Zolder in 2025 and also scored an eighth and a sixth place.

He said: “It’s a very good circuit for me and normally I have very good results there. I hope for the same this year because points are the most important right now. It’s an older track and a difficult track but I like it.”

Rodrigues heads to Zolder sixth in the standings after he finished a fine second in the opening race of the Autodrom Most weekend last month. He also tops the Goodyear FIA ETRC Young Driver ranking with three rounds remaining.
