Kiss tips Rodrigues for more Goodyear FIA ETRC success

Norbert Kiss believes José Eduardo Rodrigues can continue winning in the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship after the Portuguese driver completed another successful season in the series.

As well as defending his Young Driver title, the Reboconort Racing Truck Team driver took a race win during the 24 Heures Camions weekend at Le Mans and achieved a career-best fifth in the final overall Goodyear FIA ETRC standings, a two-place improvement on the previous season.

Kiss, who celebrated claiming a record-extending eighth Goodyear FIA ETRC title, said of the third-generation Portuguese driver: “He’s doing really well, during this season and also in the previous season he did some very, very nice performances, especially this year at Zolder in the rain he drive very well. That’s always a very important quality. He’s doing really well, and I am sure he will get more victories in the future.”
