Lenz reveals importance of Newell support in Goodyear FIA ETRC

Sascha Lenz has spoken about the “incredible support” he receives from fellow Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship competitor John Newell.

In a social media post, Lenz wrote: “Thank you very much for your incredible support and trust over all these years. What started as a business partnership has grown into a genuine friendship, and I am truly grateful for that.

“Our partnership means a great deal to me. I deeply appreciate not only our successful cooperation, but also the mutual respect, trust and many experiences we have shared along the way.

“Thank you for everything, and especially for the 2026 season. I look forward to everything that lies ahead and to many more successful years together. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, John.”

Lenz finished the 2026 season third in the final Goodyear FIA ETRC while Newell, his fellow MAN-powered driver, won the Chrome title for the first time.
