How Recuenco hit back at home in Goodyear FIA ETRC

Mercedes-Benz-driving Luis Recuenco hit back from his Race 1 exit to score strong Chrome points in the final three races of the 39th Grand Prix de España FIA Europeo de Camiones weekend, the deciding round of the 2026 Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship.

Competing in his native Spain, Recuenco was a non-finisher in Race 1 but made amends by placing sixth, sixth and fifth in the three counters that followed at Circuito de Madrid Jarama – RACE earlier this month.

In his first Goodyear FIA ETRC season racing with Mercedes-Benz power, Recuenco was classified seventh in the final Chrome standings and 16^th in the overall order.
