Garrett keen to build on podium momentum in Goodyear FIA ETRC

Luke Garrett wants to build on his podium momentum in the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship.

Garrett placed sixth in the final Chrome standings in 2025 and started the 2026 season opener at Misano last weekend with a new race truck, which he built up himself over the winter.

“Obviously I want to do better than last year,” the British driver said. “By the end of the last season we started to get some podiums, which from 2024 and the beginning of last year we were struggling.”

The MAN-powered driver continued: “It’s a new truck. It’s all the same concepts of last year but just a few things of the truck that weren’t great we’ve changed and improved on. The chassis was very good in the rain, but it was quite soft, so we just stiffened the chassis but not too stiff because obviously then when it’s raining it might not be good. Hopefully we can be a bit quicker.”
