GOODYEAR FIA ETRC EVENT IN HUNGARY CANCELLED

Hungaroring withdrew from agreement to host Hungarian race due to reconstruction work at the track

The Hungaroring has taken the decision to withdraw from its agreement with ETRA, the promoter of the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship, to host the Hungarian round of the championship this year.

Officials from the Hungaroring have informed ETRA, that due to reconstruction work at the Hungaroring, which is their top priority, it is no longer possible to host the second race weekend of the 2023 season.

Despite ETRA’s best efforts no solution could be found, and therefore the event at the Hungaroring, which was due to be held on 3/4 June 2023, will be cancelled.
