IVECO joins the #onetruckfamily campaign as Official Partner for 2019
The FIA European Truck Racing Championship announced today a new partnership with IVECO #onetruckfamily campaign.
The announcement was made on the eve of the 2019 FIA ETRC season which will kick off with the Petronas Urania Grand Prix Truck event in Misano in Italy on the 25/26 May.
The new partnership will see IVECO become an engaged and active partner within the championship and the recently announced #onetruckfamily campaign, launched by FIA ETRC to address the driver shortage by raising the profile and public perception of this profession.
At the launch event, the director of the European Truck Racing Association, Georg Fuchs said: “The FIA ETRC is a very relevant and engaging platform for IVECO and we are delighted that they have come on board for the #onetruckfamily campaign, as we share common objectives, values and goals.
“The driver shortage issue is very crucial to the industry and maybe even to economy. With IVECO being a further manufacturer supporting this campaign we feel to be on the right way - to spread the positive emotions, aspiration and passion of the FIA ETRC in order to appreciate and to enhance the profile of professionals working in associated industries.
“We feel that IVECO is the perfect fit as a vibrant partner in the FIA ETRC which will be fully active in the vital and creative #onetruckfamily initiative,” added Fuchs.
The level of anticipation is high for an epic season of action to come, and of course the Bullen of IVECO, the reigning champions with Hahn Racing and Team Schwabentruck, will again surely be popping more champagne corks this year along with the other IVECO teams, Don’t Touch Racing and Reinert Racing.
“We are absolutely convinced that the growing IVECO Race Truck family will increase our visibility and brand awareness,” stated Gerrit Marx, President Commercial and Specialty Vehicles.
