KISS CONTINUES POLE STREAK WITH SECOND FRONT ROW START IN MISANO

Norbert Kiss has taken the second pole position at Misano World Circuit ahead of Sascha Lenz and Jochen Hahn.

With the sun shining on the track this morning, the track evolution was much less than yesterday as qualifying progressed, giving advantage to the Titan drivers.

Kiss’ 2:02.222 looked initially to be in a league of its own, but Lenz was pushing hard to reel in the Hungarian. His 2:02.793 was only half a second off of the pole time, placing him beside Kiss on the front row of the grid.

Hahn completed the top three and starts alongside Steffi Halm on the second row. The battle between the trio of Lenz, Hahn and Halm was very tight as at one point they were separated by 0.067s.

André Kursim rounded off the top five and will start on the third row next to Antonio Albacete.

José Eduardo Rodrigues once again took Promoter’s Cup pole ahead of Steffen Faas. The Portugese driver held a four tenth lead over Faas, taking class pole with a 2:04.789.

John Newell and Jonathan André completed the top ten, taking third and fourth in Promoter’s Cup grid respectively.

Mark Taylor, Luis Recuenco and Clemens Hecker did not progress to Super Pole, taking 11th, 12th and 13th to complete the grid.

Race Three will start at 13:50, where all eyes will be on Kiss and Lenz going into Turn 1.
