Lenz goes fast, Kiss goes faster in Goodyear FIA ETRC Warm-up

Sascha Lenz underlined his threat for Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship honours during the upcoming Race 1 after he went second quickest to points leader and defending champion Norbert Kiss in the 15-minute Warm-up this morning.

But while local hero Lenz recorded a 1m53.555s, fellow MAN driver Kiss dipped below the 1m53s barrier for the first time with a sub-record run of 1m52.553s.

Jochen Hahn was third fastest with son Lukas, the leading Chrome category contender, fourth quickest.

René Reinert and Antonio Albacete filled out the top six as Steffi Halm and former Goodyear FIA ETRC champion Adam Lack gave chase.

Chrome drivers John Newell and Mercedes-powered Luis Recuenco completed the top 10 ahead of Bradley Smith, Mark Taylor, Jonathan André, Luke Garrett, Emma Mäkinen and Stefan Kursch.
