Two-time Dakar Winner Martin Macík to Make Truck Racing Debut at Czech Truck Prix
Multiple Golden Steering Wheel winner and Dakar rally hero Martin Macík is set to join the Goodyear FIA ETRC grid at Autodrom Most on 30–31 August 2025.
After getting a taste of truck racing in 2024 during a test in Steffi Halm’s truck, Macík is ready to step things up in 2025. He will make his debut at the Czech Truck Prix, driving Lukas Hahn’s race truck under the guidance of six-time champion Jochen Hahn.
Macík took part in a test session at Autodrom Most last weekend, fine-tuning his preparation for round five of the 2025 Goodyear FIA ETRC season. The transition from Dakar’s sand dunes to the fast-paced world of European truck racing may seem bold, but Macík is all in:
“Last year’s experience with circuit trucks really thrilled me – it’s a completely different world than Dakar, but a good portion of adrenaline will definitely not be missing,” said Macík. “I’ve been preparing hard, and I can’t wait to bring something extra to the fans in Most this August.”
His entry is a major boost for Czech fans, who will once again have a local hero to cheer on. Autodrom Most is also promising a packed weekend of racing and rally-inspired action, including exclusive experiences for Macík’s fans.
